Free Advanced Movie Screening: 127 Hours – James Franco

Hopefully since we’re rolling into award movie season, there will be lots of awesome free screenings popping up, though this new GoFobo trend makes it harder to find the screenings before their full.

Today there are still cities left for screenings of 127 Hours. This movie (I believe) is based on a true store. Plot description via IMDB: A mountain climber becomes trapped under a boulder while canyoneering alone near Moab, Utah and resorts to desperate measures in order to survive. It stars James Franco. I’ll include the trailer at the end of this post.

The movie comes out today, but the free screenings are various other dates in November. This screening is a Gofobo. You have to sign up for a Gofobo account if you don’t have one.

These are the cities available at the time of posting:

  • Albany, NY
  • Austin, TX
  • Dallas, TX
  • Denver, CO
  • Houston, TX

  • Tucson, AZ

ETA: New cities available on 11/12
