EDIT: More advanced screening dates and tickets are available now at this site. You have to sign up for their site to reserve tickets.
This will just be a quick post because by the time I found out about this, the vast majority of cities were sold out. I’m not surprised, because I know a lot of people are really looking forward to this.
Tron: Legacy will be released on 10-28-2010 in Imax 3D. How is that different from regular 3D? Well, they’ve found a way to make people pay even more for a movie ticket by not only making it 3D but also at an IMAX theater. (Such a rip-off). If you’re lucky, maybe you won’t get ripped off and can see it for free!
Go to the Tron Night site and click on your state or province to sign up for tickets.
These were the states & provinces available at the time of posting:
- New Jersey
- New York
Anyone actually planning to go see this IMAX 3D? I think I’ll wait for the DVD release.
