I don’t post too many sweepstakes, but this one seems worth it since you get a free sample just for entering.

Astroglide is giving away a 3 night get away in Miami for Valentines Day. When you enter you get the choice of a free sample of Astroglide Regular lube or the new Astroglide X (you can also enter without signing up for the sample).

The prize includes round trip airfare for two to Miami, three nights at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Ground transportation, two tickets to a private party and meet and greet with Enrique Iglesias and two tickets to see him perform live.

Must be a US resident, 21 years of age or older to enter. You have until January 28th to enter (and I assume to get the sample as well.

I briefly mentioned before that a story of mine was selected to be published in an anthology. The day has come that finally justifies my $100K+ in student loans.

My short story “File 8962: Found in Apartment 211 on Clean-Up Day 2″ is featured in the new anthology Isolation from Post Mortem Press. It’s a humorous story about zombies and unrequited love.

New Year, New Job.

Happy New Year everyone! I know I’m three days late, but things have been busy busy busy.

I am now working two part time jobs. I don’t know how it’s all going to work out, I could be working 3 days a week or 6 (maybe even 7 gasp!) days a week. These could be 8 hour days or 12 hour days. Aren’t variable schedules fun?

So what does this mean? Well, the free time I have to post on the site is going to be greatly diminished. My second job only lasts through mid-April, so this won’t be the norm forever, but patience would be appreciated.

I’m taking this opportunity to rebuild my savings and try to get a handle on my debts. These are two areas I’ve been struggling with since I’ve been unemployed or temporarily employed for the past two years. Hopefully around mid-year my permanent part-time job will become a full-time job and everything in my life will stabilize.

For now things will be a little sparse around here. If anyone has ideas for guest posts or things they’d like to share, please let me know.

Otherwise, let the chaos begin.
