Free Advanced Movie Screening: Whip It
I am excited for this! Fox Searchlight is starting to list advanced screenings for it’s forthcoming movie Whip It. It stars Drew Berrymore, Ellen Page, Kristin Wiig, and Juliette Lewis. The plot, as described by IMDB is “In Bodeen, Texas, an indie-rock loving misfit finds a way of dealing with her small-town misery after she discovers a roller derby league in nearby Austin.” I’ll include the trailer below.
To get the passes, just select your city and fill out your info. You’ll receive an email, which is what you’ll print to take with you to the theater.
Right now the only cities listed are Albuquerque, Austin, Baltimore, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Montreal, New Orleans, New York, Norfolk, Phoenix, Richmond, Salt Lake City, Tucson, & Washington DC. The movie doesn’t open until October 2nd, so it’s possible that more cities will be added to the list before then. So keep checking back if your city isn’t on the list.
