Fee Free this Weekend at National Parks
Unfortunately we don’t really have any National Parks here in Illinois, but I thought I’d pass this around to my readers elsewhere in the country.
The US National Park Service is offering a fee free weekend at the parks that usually charge an entrance fee.
This is a great opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the fresh air, and the natural beauty of these parks. You can search to find a park in your area.
This weekend (July 18th & 19th) is fee-free. There will also be one more fee-free weekend this year August 15th & 16th, so you can plan ahead for a nice weekend vacation if there isn’t a park close to your home.
Some of the parks are free year round as well, so it doesn’t hurt to see what’s available in your area.
